You would join a well-established Malvern firm of chartered accountants and advisers, working directly with private clients, their families and their other professional advisers.
What the role involves
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds
- Training and assisting clients to administer their accounting systems
- Researching and drafting written advice on taxation matters
- Training and supervision of graduates and accountants
- Staying across existing legislation, current developments and ATO interpretations that bear on the work you are doing for clients
- Communicating with clients and colleagues professionally, and holding their confidence in person and over the telephone
- Working within the firm’s established system of work practices
- Supporting other team members and contributing to a positive team environment

What we are looking for
You will have strong analytical skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work harmoniously in a team. The successful candidate will have three or more years’ business services experience with a reputable Australian firm and be CA or CPA qualified.
Previous exposure to Xero, BGL 360 and MYOB AE will be highly regarded.
